Ramona Marks

Professional writing, web content, proofreading, and editing.

Just ask.

Ghostwriter, editor, proofreader, copy editor, and copy writer are some of the titles I wear on a week-to-week basis. Although I believe in the Oxford comma, I don't mind making exceptions. The rules are ours to break. I write web content, draft text, and provide professional editing and proofreading services for clients around the world.

In the past, I've written and edited text totaling over 1 million words per year. The majority of the work is confidential, but samples are available upon request.

I've been the English language proofreader for academic papers and speeches written by European academics, ensuring that the messages are clear and the English is professional.

I've been a ghost blog post writer for small business and travel blogs, and I've provided website text for businesses from plumbers and movers to therapists and dentists. I also have experience providing SEO advice and integrating SEO strategies into the writing in a natural and seamless way.

Please visit the Contact page or send an email if you would like to see relevant samples or have questions about past experience.

Since 2010, I have lived internationally, working from various locations throughout Europe while house sitting. In 2015, I settled down in Germany. My previous professional experience includes work in accounting and finance, for a PR firm and a literary agency, as well as handling communications and in-house accounting for a small non-profit. For a time I served as the Treasurer of The Bicycle Kitchen. My degree is a BA in Economics from Mt. Holyoke College. I was raised in the wilds of the northern California redwood forests, on the jagged edge of the Pacific Ocean.

Great work as always. Thank you.

Thanks to your work it’s a pleasure to re-read through the text now...
You will hear from us again when we will need a proofreader. And I will recommend you among my colleagues.
